Sunday and Sand

Another weekend has passed and I am already looking forward for the arrival of the next weekend. Its the first day of the week here ( in UAE, weekends are Friday and Saturday, so we face Sunday Blues here just like the Monday blues everywhere else). anyways getting back to the point, I am feeling very very lazy, though I have woken to a beautiful morning, I am still trying to get into the mould of running a normal household for 5 days a week.

I had to gather a lot of energy to write this post so just to cheer me up, i started to browse through the photos and decided to do an outfit post. I am loving my maxis, I love wearing them. I found this cotton print in an Export cloth house (shops that stock export reject textiles) in Ludhiana (my home town in India ) and I decided that I need to convert it into a Maxi. I wanted to let the print speak for itself and hence kept the details and silhouette simple. By the way, I have mentioned in one of the earlier posts that I used to run a boutique in my hometown before my marriage. Now my Mom handles its operations and every time I go to India, I come back with a lot of my own designed outfits. Isn't that a great privilege I enjoy??? :)

Coming back to the post... UAE is a fairly small country, so there are a lot of destinations which are only 1-2 hours away. So me and my husband normally, take off on the roads just like that and enjoy both the ride and the view. We simply stop at a  random place in the middle of nowhere for such photo sessions. We have loads and loads of such photos :)

So these photos were also taken on the roadside as both of us were mesmerized by the sand. I walked barefooted on it, it was simply not hot...both of us enjoyed it immensely...
Isn't it so much fun to cherish the smaller things that you come across in life??????

By the way my next post will be about my new Art Work. So stay tuned :) :)

So needless to say, I am so jealous of you. Everything about this post is perfect ... the maxi, the sand, the sun, the poses and you!
