First Commission

When I had my very first exhibition a month back I felt a lot of varied emotions at the same time. I was excited, nervous, happy and doubtful yet hopeful.  But when on the very first day I was commissioned to do the following art work I was simply on "Top of the World".

And now its time to take the Art Work to its final conclusion.

Diwali 2011

Had a beautiful Diwali with all the decorations and lights around me. Already looking forward to the next diwali as my mind is still bursting with new ideas.

Beautiful Weather

Finally the weather in Dubai is nice and breezy (windy actually) but I liked it immensely especially after the long, scorching summer.
So me and husband went down to the corniche to enjoy it and boy I so wanted to be blown away. Had some real fun clicking pictures. Just note the way my hair and dress are flowing.. proof of the windy air :)

Pink October

The month of October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM). It is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. Awaiting Diwali

Diwali is my favorite festivals of all ( well its fav for most of the Indians but then I will speak for myself :)).. anyways, I love this festival because its a wonderful combination of both bright colors and lots and lots of lights. Its the most auspicious time to make the major purchases of the year like jewelry or car. The shopping list during Diwali includes new clothes, utensils, electronics, home linen, home decor etc etc etc.

I absolutely love doing the diwali puja followed by bursting crackers. But the high point for me is to decorate the entire house from inside to outside with lights, lamps, flowers and rangoli.

Fall @Dubai

Its fall in the rest of the world but does not feel like one in Dubai.

Though the temperatures have dropped but it does not feel like a season change yet.
